Abstract
In October 2019, OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) suddenly became one of the buzzwords in the local infosec community, thanks to the first national missing persons CTF event that ran during Australian Cyber Security Week. Have you heard about the event but don’t know what it involves, or have you wondered what OSINT is and why people are intrigued about it? Perhaps you’re curious about how you can contribute your skills and knowledge to helping find missing persons during other crowd-sourced CTF events. If you are, then join the speaker as she talks about what OSINT is, how it can be leveraged to help find missing persons, and how you can help.

Speaker Bio:
During day time, Gyle works as a Cyber Threat Analyst for Cyber Research NZ Ltd. In her spare time, she volunteers for different causes. One of these is as a remote judge for the different Missing Persons OSINT CTFs ran by Trace Labs.
