Abstract
In this digital age where we can do pretty much anything, anywhere, where we don’t switch off and are squeezing every minute out of every day to “have it all”, balance can be a seemingly impossible goal. As mothers of young families, Erica and Jacqui think they have found a good way to balance career, family and passion community projects. For the duo, job sharing over the last 18 months, has created the opportunity to not only balance time, but also soft and technical skills, expertise and maximise their overall team contribution. Recognising that we all have a life outside of work, and often a passion which needs time – a precious commodity in todays world – Jacqui and Erica are keen to share the value of their work partnership. An arrangement which businesses should arguably embrace to get the most out flexible working, create new ways to balance required skills sets within teams and foster loyalty and well-being. Speaker Bio: Jacqui and Erica are the Joint Head of Security Behaviours and Influence (Product Owners) at ANZ. In this position, the partners are jointly responsible for developing the global strategy for engaging and empowering secure behaviour change across customers and 40,000+ employees over ANZ’s 30+ geographies. Erica has been applying interdisciplinary approaches to what was traditionally purely a communications role for over 13 years, with prior roles in HR providing the basis for her approach. In her spare time, she is also the co-founder of the Security Influence and Trust (SIT) community for Awareness professionals in the Australasia region. Jacqui has been working in security for 18 years in a range of security technologies and has practical experience in different security domains within various industry sectors across Europe and Australia. In her spare time, she is also the founder of the Australian Women in Security Network (AWSN) and the Security Job Profile Project. |
