Abstract
Discover the talents autistic individuals can bring to your Cyber Security workforce. We will take a look at the autism spectrum and understand how some of the traits help these individuals succeed and build a career in the world of Cyber Security. We will also take a look at some of the benefits to an organisation through by looking at the ANZ Spectrum Program Speaker Bio: Andrew has a 33 year career history with ANZ, working across various roles within the bank, from International Services Front Line, FX & Derivative Operations Back Office, Delivery & Support Management, Major Incident Recovery Management to developing diverse Technology Talent pathways Andrew is an experienced technology professional with a strong people focus who enjoys developing teams and individuals to their potential and see them grow. Andrew is responsible for running the ANZ Spectrum program which employs autistic individuals and teaches them the skills needed for careers in Cyber Security and Data Services, Andrew also co-manages the Technology Graduate and Intern programs. These programs plus the teams Traineeship program with TAFE, Women in IT network and Return to Work program are tapping into diverse talent required to build the workforce of the future and building careers for all the individuals.
