10am - Beginner Workshop:
Participants will learn the mechanics of various locks and how to defeat them through single-pin-picking, raking, bypass, and kinetic techniques. As a participant you will spend time defeating common locks beginning with simple pin tumbler cores to wafer locks commonly used in office cabinets. This workshop will be very hands on, and will have a focus on learning through guided practice. 1pm - Intermediate Workshop: Participants will learn the mechanics of various security pins such as spools, mushrooms, serrated pins works and how techniques on how to defeat them. The focus will be on the LW5 keyway which is commonly used across Australia. As a participant you will spend time defeating progressively more difficult locks beginning with 3 spools, through to higher security cores with 6 spooled pins and a locks with a mixture of security pins. This workshop will be very hands on, and will have a focus on learning through guided practice. 3pm - Lock Bypass Workshop: Participants will learn the common bypass techniques such as shimming, bumping, and jiggling. We will then move on to latch bypass techniques using various tools such as the under-the-door tool, j-tool, double door tool, wedges, jims and shims. You will be able to test out various bypass techniques in a lab environment. The training will also cover some common ways to bypass digital pin pad locks. This workshop will be very hands on, and will have a focus on learning through guided practice. |
