If you are a student or a first time speaker and you don't feel you are 100% ready for a full talk? Consider submitting to our lightning talk session. See below for details.

IMPORTANT - FINANCIAL AID

The BSides Melbourne organisers care about making a diverse and inclusive security conference. This means extending a helping hand to those who need it, whether due to financial need or as members of traditionally underrepresented groups. Regretfully, we cannot extend this to everyone, so please consider your expenses before applying to BSides Mebourne. We thankyou for your consideration.

Mentoring Program

BSides Melbourne will be offering a mentoring program for students, first time speakers or anyone who would like that little bit of extra help. Our goal is to remove all barriers that would prevent someone from submitting their work and to equip those individuals with the skills they need to be successful.

Please express your interest for a mentor when you submit your CFP.
